This recipe for Christmas cookies is from J’s mother – it looks simple but they are absolutely delicious!
125g chopped walnuts
To coat: a mix of powdered sugar and vanilla sugar
Mix all ingredients together to form a dough. Form into rolls or crescents, as in the photo. Bake at 150-160 degrees Celsius for 10-20 minutes (until golden – it depends on the oven). While still hot, roll in a mixture of powdered sugar and vanilla sugar.
Apparently these get better with time – I don’t think they will last long enough for me to find out!
